Now, if they put in the fully correct name of the legion, this isn't a problem. But as it's often typed in, this little weird senario happens:
For the legion "The Start Of The End"(random one I picked out with this problem)
If I search "The Start" or "The start", correct result is shown
If I search "start", "Start", "the Start", "the start", the wrong result is shown.

while for legion such as say "Deathly Encounter"
searching
"the deathly", "deathly", "Deathly", "the Deathly" will show the legion.

Now it isn't a big problem as fully correct input yields fully correct results, but it can be confusing when you are searching for a legion that start with "The"
It might be nice to show result for both "abcd" and "The abcd" when you search by key word "the abcd"

There is a legion called "Corsairs" which comes up with that search, and a legion called "The Corsairs" that does not.

Also for us, searching "Genome" only returns Genome Brood. You have to search "Dark" and "Radiant" respectively. Basically, the search function is pretty messed up.

lol, at least u can search for the first word of ur legion lower or higher case the "The" legions have a case requirement too XD

True, but what I'm saying is that it's not just "the" that is bugged. Plenty of searches do not work properly, and overall the search system is totally flawed.

Looks like Dan is only placing a wild card on the end of the search string. I don't know if this was an accident or he was trying to save cpu cycles/require the user to enter the first half of the search term correctly. Seems like most of you want the search to use a wild card on both ends. I've seen it done both ways this might be more of a suggestion than a issue and it definitely will save a lot of processing load to keep it the way he has it.

actully, we rarely really need a wild card on front. I personally just want "the" to be treated just like "The"
