my build space, numbers or messed up i have 274/238 which means my i have 274 items on board, but my allowed amount is 238... when i get gain build points.the 238 does get larger......

I think what happened is you installed an artifact module that was too big for your ship. Its a known bug. And you dont have 274 ITEMS on your ship but your ship's total SPACE is taken up by modules. All modules have a size. What do you mean the 238 gets larger? You gain more? Yes, that happens whenever you get ship bots, or spend rank points in decks.

Thats sounds about right..yes the 138 number was just a example..correct that number gets bigger, when advance in rank.
So i am hosed..or remove a artifact..i think it happen when i won, in daily bonus..

otherwise it will take alot of advancements, to cover up that distance

What ever you got that made it so much larger was most likely a nice artifact that improved your ship really well. You most likely got it from a mission that awards you with a new item to put on your ship. What you can do, after you find out what the item is, is either:

A. Keep the item deciding that it is worth the space and time to build your ship back up.
B. Uninstall the item knowing that if you do so you will not be able to reinstall it till your ship hits the right size. (This would also take up cargo space.) or...
C. Sell the item and lose the benefits it gives you forever. This way you will have the deck space and the cargo space to do what you will with.

Correct it was from a mission reward, just have to figure it out...i think it is one you cant sell....
So is this ,a now and then bug, or will it happen on the mission rewards,

It happens for any artifact module, DO NOT SELL THAT MODULE< I REPEAT DO NOT SELL IT. THEY ARE ALWAYS SOME OF THE BST MODULES IN THE ENTIRE GAME. Dont sell it. Whatever you do dont sell it, sell your other modules.
