Apparently so. I'm still rather new to the game at level 22 but I actually read the forums to learn a bit about the game. During my planet scanning spree today I found two different planets owned by players who should know better (over level 70) with Ultra and Mega Rich stats (one is 2xMega Rich in two categories) and absolutely zero defenses. I'm seriously tempted to take the planets even though I'll probably just lose them to someone else since the current owners obviously don't really want to keep them...

i have seen them too... and they DO want them. for some reason higher levels prefer $$$ over protection. besides if you take it they will likely snatch it back... if they can afford it. and you be certain to make a powerful enemy...

i personally would go for it and take my chances tho, but thats me.

Try to get your hands on a planet flux artifact.

Invade and flux ... then they will only be able to cry

it's a pretty rare artifact (needs 4000 points and pops up rarely) ... So you might even consider buying it with GP if you really want to secure a nice planet.

I do have nearly 5000 artifact points saved up. Maybe I'll get lucky...?

yep... i know all about the flux. i received one though a legion member, and i used it on one of my conquered planets. wish i had more... LOL.
