 Phase Cannons

I think you mixed up the picture for the light and heavy phase cannons. The heavy phase cannons are pictured as smaller and more slender, and the light phase cannons are shown as bigger and beefier.

Does the pictured heavy phase cannon weigh more or less depending on the size? That you noticed.

Correct but it still has mass that affect inertia for any velocity change during maneuvering. ;) Bigger mass, the slower your ship will turn or accelerate for same amount of energy.

Maybe, Blackhawk meant weight as mass for proper term. Heh. Yes, bigger gun definitely has more mass if using same metal..

If you look at the images closely, you'll see that they are NOT mixed up. The image for the Light Phase Cannon is simply more zoomed in because it is smaller. The Phase Cannon and the Heavy Phase Cannon have an extra section to the rear of the weapon that the Light Phaser Cannon lacks. The Heavy Phase Cannon simply has a more intense glow. Look at the images side by side then you'll see it.
