I'm not sure if this should be an "issue" or a "suggestion", but it's an issue for me at the moment so I'll post it here. :)

The Calming Amplifier can be a useful tool when you are being harassed and want a break from people attacking you. However, I discovered a side-effect of the artifact today that concerns me. If a player uses a Calming Amplifier on themselves, they cannot be attacked in any way until the 12 hour timer expires. However, the truce does not prevent that player from hacking other people so if they apply the truce to themselves they can still freely hack other people without any fear of retribution.

not entirely true. there are ways to disable a ship with one of those on there.

Care to share how, since the effect cannot be removed and the player cannot be attacked while it is active?

I don't think the calming amplifier keeps the player from being hacked, only attacked. So if he hacks, he can be hacked in return.

Sure, they can be hacked back if you want to stack up enough scanners/cloak to beat what the hacker has, but hunter said that there are ways to disable a ship even with a truce active. I'd like to know how since they can't be attacked...

Containment missile gets rid of it. You can't take it off yourself though.
