In my ship status it shows 2 krionus viruses both with the same amount of time. When I tried to double up on traps it wouldn't let me, |

When I tried to double up on traps it wouldn't let me, iv seen the same thing, id think it was just a person applying a new one as soon as I used up one if I hadnt been spamming the attack button. |

same, and it took effect twice too. this has to be a bug. edit: or the target found a clever exploit and is breaking the TOS |

its still happening. i hit the trap and it applies twice. this has been happening alot lately  0 mins ago Your attack on X sets off a Krionus Virus Trap, surrounding your ship with its effects! 0 mins ago Your attack on X sets off a Krionus Virus Trap, surrounding your ship with its effects! say my attack is 1500 or so (random number) when i get hit once its 150, and then again to 15. |

Don't know if it's the same problem you were having, but the current crappy mouse I'm using occasionally double clicks on me when I'm only clicking it once. It just did it to me when I hacked someone, which apparently resulted in me hacking them twice (got twice the RP it said I stole) and also triggered the trap twice. My guess as to the problem of double-trapping is that there is large enough server lag for someone to repeat the action that triggers a trap before the trap is removed by the act of having already been triggered. |

Also by your discription it also lags just enough to account 2 successful hacks. |
