Were you defending a planet? if you were, then that's why the Halcyon didn't work. if you weren't, then that clearly shouldn't have happened and something is up

If your guarding planet you can be disabled no matter if there are 0 disables left or even with calming amp on or halcyon on your ship.

This is the fun thing about exotica you can disable anyone who guards it.
