last few days i've run across a pvp bug

Post subject:  last few days i've run across a pvp bug
don't know if its pure visual on my side. or if its actual and the person gets credit for multiple kills.

But lately I've gotten newsfeeds for being disabled multiple times.
IE
34 min ago from ######
your ship has been disabled by ######
view your ship
34 min ago from ######
your ship has been disabled by ######
view your ship
34 min ago from ######
your ship has been disabled by ######
view your ship
34 min ago from ######
your ship has been disabled by ######
view your ship
34 min ago from ######
your ship has been disabled by ######
view your ship

now this is where ##### is the same person. I'm hoping they are not farming kills somehow and getting 5 kills cause he's clicking so fast that it registers it and pads his stats and lowers mine.

That happens often when the aggressor attacks too fast.
(especially when both fighters are online real-time, where even 1 second matter)
The counter for victim seem to go down many times, but the aggressor's kill counter does not seem to go up, at least to my knowledge.

I am constantly having some bug issue with several aspects of game play.
Receiving shipments, buying minerals, installing and uninstalling. They all happen repeatedly!
Not that big of a problem with receiving Shipments or buying low level minerals, but when it comes to higher minerals and the installing/uninstalling - that is a big problem - very costly and those moments when it ends up when stuffs are uninstalled ie weapons, defenses and the like, it turns out very bad when I am unaware or offline and I get attacked!
Did I mention it's costing me millions! :? :x :evil: :twisted: :!:

It sort of seems like a good thing if it discourages people from spam-clicking. Someone on the forum said they could get multiple hacks doing that, but I was never able to recreate it. If that won't work, then some 5-10 second disable timer should be able to get rid of it. It only seems to apply to the victim's potential actions, and not any stats.

Is this related to the 'multiple actions with one click' issue (and the individuals involved aren't being impatient, ie. clicking the button several times)? I still have this problem with my work computer. I don't buy minerals or uninstall modules at work because of this issue. And selling minerals, missions, chat, NPC battles, etc. are a pain in the so-called 'patootie.'

The technical solution revolves around having multiple DB requests incoming for the action in question; if you have a DB that supports it, you should consider LOCKing the player's row data so that the first DB transaction completes before the second is allowed to run; when you decrement the counter, the second transaction would then return an error because the action is invalid (for example, 1->0 hacks remain, then the second call to read that value waits and retrieves 0 not the previous value of 1).

I've seen a similar bug with using artifacts on people, my Halcyon Trap appeared twice in my post and somebody's active effects, and their Disarming Bomb appeared twice on mine (I didn't check to see if its effect was double or not though).

Doesn't look like a bug, probably just used Time Manipulators to raid you to zero from one disable.
