I got a couple glaviz devices and thought I'd try out a different race/profession and see if the grass was greener on the other side. Figure the worst that can happen is I don't like it and use the other one to change back, but I met an unexpected change. Apparently, I had to change my name. It wouldn't let me keep cmptrvir, instead I had to change the i to a 1. I suppose I could use the other glaviz device just to change my name back, but that'd be kind of a waste of it. Any help would be appreciated, or at least, alert/fix the device so others don't have the same thing happen to them. Thanks in advance!

When changing race/profession, you are only required to choose an alias once if your character existed prior to when the game was patched to support aliases.
