I have member of my legion that has currently 2497 hack and isn't on the leader board. Can someone help.

rank 30 with 2497 hacks?

no one has confirmed this to me officially, but i was told that you have to be over rank 50 to show up on any of the leaderboards. get your legion-mate to check back every time they rank up, and then you can confirm this if/when he gets to 50 (or whatever rank it ends up being).

Correct. The minimum rank to be eligible for the leaderboard is 50. You must also be active to remain on the LB.

Dan, why should somebody have to be rank 50 to be on the leaderboard? If they have more kills, hacks, raids, or whatever than somebody on the leaderboard, then why don't they deserve to be on it?

I had the same question when I was about the same rank, I asked Dan via e-mail. As for the minimum requirement of Rank 50, why not? If he wants to be on the leaderboard, he only needs to gain 20 ranks (so that obviously won't happen for a while). When he does get up there he'll just leap up it anyway...and to be honest nobody checks the Hacks board much.

My guess is that the level 50 requirement is to cut out the vast vast amount of level 1-30 ships that create an account and do not continue to play from having to be looked up constantly for leaderboard stats.
So, basically, to decrease sever lag.

LPenguin, I know you could not give a **** less, but this is exactly why people dislike you. Maybe you just do it for the sheer hell of irritating people. I don't know why you do it, nor do I want to. For whatever reason, it makes people not want to talk to you. Are you wondering what I am talking about? I'll tell you. What I am talking about is that you do things people dislike, or something that is wrong, and instead of admitting your mistake and moving on, you always have to be right. You try to prove to everyone that you are not stupid and that you are a tough guy. All that does is make people wonder why they keep trying to reason with you, and they give up. I think that in your mind, that might equal a victory, because you had the last word. Everyone on this forum can tell you that, in life, having the last word is not necessarily a victory. If you keep carrying on and on and on and on about something, one party has to say, "Screw it, this is stupid", and move on. You, however, seem to get hung up on needing to be the last one to say something. Again, I think you think having the last post on a thread equals a victory for you. It does not, and there lies the reason why people do not like you in-game and on the forums.
I may be way off-base, and if I am, I am sorry. This, however, is what your personality on the forum says to me. I am human, I screw things up, and I also want to have the last word in most situations. That is not always a good thing.

actually Tree, this aint a dead topic anymore. GloriousNippon just debuted on the raids leaderboard yesterday ... in 43d spot ... meaning that either he got over 470 raids in one day ... or he was successful at not ranking past rank 50 until yesterday.

he also debuted on the hacks leaderboard at position #16 with over 7k hacks. looks like he is an ice.fisher / bottom feeder tho, as he did not debut on the kills leaderboard.

i was trying to figure out which legion GloriousNippon is at the moment so i could confirm the rank 50 data ... and i linked to this topic.

so, he's not in Overlord anymore ... does anyone claim awareness of his whereabouts now ?

For some reason this topic caught my eye, and (yes, it's kinda stupid) I decided to randomly look through legions for him lol. At a guess, the data is correct, as he is now rank 51. Officer in The Abyss.

Heh, I remember back at that rank. I think I debuted around the same place on the hacks board, but man that required so many fewer hacks back then. And it would be 100% impossible for him to debut on the leaderboard for kills at 50; I did nothing bar PvP until about rank 100, and I think I had around 1500 kills at that point, though it's a bit fuzzy. Point is, you probably couldn't get onto the PvP board until at least rank 100-150 now, even if the only thing you did was PvP related stuff.

Joseph4 why did u type all that? No I do not care what someone thinks of me on an online game that I will never see, Also you were way off and tree was the ignorant one. As the other fellow said, this is being brought up again because of another fellow reaching the raids leaderboard at rank 50, so this topic is very active on fb chats and elsewhere now. Instead of immediately trying to flame me and pop out that little chest of yours, You should of just moved on and chatted around 1st.

I belive nippon ranked to get onto the board. He visited raiders a few months back and had enough hacks to put him at about 17th at the time and over 2.5k raids but was about level 30 or so
