I'm always on the wiki, and I make pages all the time but I hate seeing spam come flooding in daily. There is a way to make it so that Admins must approve a page but until Dan activates it and either you or I or some other ACTUAL contributor of the Wiki gets permission to do this and moved to the admin group spam will continue flooding in. I know this because I manage another Wiki for a work in progress game. Every page must get approved by an Admin. |

What if the first edit/page creation a user makes HAS to be approved by an admin? That should solve a lot of the problems too. Not sure if there would be an option for that. If the first edit/page addition is obviously spam, simply delete the user and IP ban. |

wiki pages as of 21nov2012: ~6700 wiki pages today: 1317 over 5380 pages of spam deleted this week. so, enjoy the 'clean' GL wiki. |
