People are attacking and notifying me and my legion even though it should be impossible. Don't ask me how, because I don't know. 2 people in my group have been notified by dysonians without hacking, raiding, disabling or using an artifact or even attacking a dysonian in days. |

Would it be pushing my luck to ask a developer to ban someone who cheats in an MMO? It hasn't exactly worked in the past. Or maybe it should be general knowledge how to cheat at the very least. Anyone care to enlighten everybody? |

just a random massive attack out of nowhere while not guarding a planet or attacking any of them in any way for more than 2 days. I can't figure out who shared me either. The developer could, and they should probably be banned for cheating like in any other respectable online game, but I think we all know that won't happen. It's either a circumvention of the intent of the legion system, or outright cheating and I have a feeling it's the latter because I doubt the dysonians are shuffling members. I would think it is worth looking into at the very least, but I doubt there will be any response. |

Hate to break it to you but its not an exploit. one of them just saw you on their battle tab and probably alerted you to the rest of their legion. You can be alerted without being attacked or attacking. |

you can only be alerted if you disable, hack, raid, or set off a trap. otherwise you cant share em. ive tried to alert 'innocents' and it dosnt work. |

I guess I was expecting a bit much for someone who knows what the hell they are talking about to respond. You can't notify someone randomly from the battle tab and you have to be 60% of someone's level for them to even have the possibility of finding you there. If somehow they are constantly shuffling members without anyone being aware that would seem a bit troublesome and unlikely to happen so consistently. I would think that might be one of the first things that would have been fixed months ago when the new legion system came out. There isn't really a point in having any limits on legion size otherwise. |

Spoony, not everything is a conspiracy. The devs aren't out to get you or anybody else. The only possible ways for these guys to hit you is to cheat or exploit a bug? Gimme a break.... |

How would you even know who we have notified and who we haven't? Ah yes, you wouldn't. No one has been alerted in the past 24 hours other then yourself 10 minutes ago. I guess it would be too much to ask for a developer to ban someone for being an idiot and complaining about things that don't exist? |

The thread is 5 days old. This time I used an artifact on nocifer so he could possibly notify me legitemately. There really isn't any point in withholding actions that can draw notification if there is a way around it. I doubt that 10 or so people found me on the battle tab all at the same time especially when I'm too low of level for them to even have the possibility of finding me there. Whatever you might call a "work around" others call a "bug". Exploiting a bug instead of reporting it goes a little beyond the normal bad sportsmanship. |

Sorry but you are still in range for 32 Dysonians. |

Post subject: | Re: targetting exploit |
People were attacking from outside of my range. It was clearly a notification from a group that I had no interaction with in probably a week. The majority that can attack me from the battle tab simply weren't, because there was a notification; one that should be impossible. I can't really dumb it down any more than that. The notification system not working properly seems like something to put in "issues and support", not exploited. Your opinion may differ, but there isn't really any need for you to interject. If it is some sort of exploit where it seems pretty blatant and contrived outside of any function within the application, then yes people are normally banned for cheating in online games. I can't verify whether the exploit is through actual game mechanics. Call me crazy if I think that should be fixed either way. |
