Ok Now I get that the repair drones have a chance of repairing the hit after they spawn because of the % chance or what ever. But I just got one of these things that repaired the ship as soon as it spawned. This should not happen. Dan please look into this we had the thing down to like 6% health left and it happened. That is a lot of energy waisted as well as time.

Taking another look at this it could of just been really bad lag. On this NPC I take about 3 secs between each hit to be sure I don't repair the ship. Now I would suggest that a good fix to this is to not allow the NPC to repair the ship till five attacks after it spawned. Heck I would be fine with two or three even. Would still require you to take your time but if there is lag or something you wouldn't have to worry about repairing it by mistake like this.

Actually Mojo your not wrong... we had a similar instance occur.

It actually stems from the fact that both of these occurrences are abilities of the NPC. So much like the Grivv, which can negate its buffs and debuff you in one hit... the Attiroth can launch a repair drone and the repair can be triggered if the abilities trigger in that order.

I sent an in-game ticket reporting that.

Isnt it possible someone else attacked after it tripped and before you killed the drone?

Nope, we do attacks one person at a time, as such only one person was attacking at the time.

Does the drone show up on everyone's bt or just the one who's hitting it? Because if it's just the one who's hitting it, then others could continue to disable it while the drone was active on the single bt.

Otherwise, if it shows up on all eligible bt's then it is possible someone else skipped it and hit the elite causing the hull to regenerate.

The drones only appear on your own battle tab, no one elses, and as i said, no one is allowed to just willy-nilly hit the Attiroth here in EotS. We have strict procedures in place, where people only hit when they are told to.

So when our member hit the Attiroth and got the two abilities to trigger on the same hit, it was worrying.

Who decides who can hit It than?

We let whomever finds the NPC decide whom they wish to take the other 4 spots, everyone so far mixes it up as to whom they choose as well, so no favorites get chosen.

We'll check into that.

While you're checking, maybe reducing the repair amount would be nice also for when it does happen. 20% would make more sense to me than 100%. I can understand 'punishing' one player for misclicking (hence 20% number) but is it really necessary to give a 100% repair.

Yeah I would think it would be as easy as changing the order in which the abilities fire .. check for existence of ship if none then check for chance of spawning..

Is it possible to move the repair ability to the repair drone itself?

So when the repair drone is spawned, it carries an ability to repair a currently alerted Attiroth's Hull by 25% if not killed before its timer hits 00:00 ... time given to kill Drone would be 30 seconds... ample time for any high rank to kill a simple drone.

I like that although, I would add something like at 0 on repair it also disappears incase someone gets logged off or something they don't have one on their BT that keeps repairing and they're not on to kill it.

How aout a thing on the Boss that says Repair Drone Active. Or something lke that so it makes it simpler to attack.

You guys do realize that the Attiroth only gets repaired when YOU have a Repair Ship spawned on YOUR battle tab and YOU continue to attack, right? If Player A has one spawned, Player B can continue to attack with no worries until he gets his own Repair Ship. Meaning you don't need to "take turns," just don't use your autoclickers...

makes it easy to know who to blame when someone screws up.

Do they have to ask permission to use the restroom too?

Not here in TU. Our members are allowed to use the head whenever they want. They're also allowed to hit whichever NPC they want whenever they want.
