Seems like if 2 people use them at once they cancel each other out . A legion mate and I lost many this way. I used 3 she used 4 with no effects on the planet. After this we used them one after another me going 1st and they worked fine. but seems if there timming is the same they glitch and are duds.

This has happened a couple times for us as well.
It is annoying having to click slowly to be able to use them.
