So yeah, title sums it up pretty simply.

Usually i get the "daily backup" lag as i and many others call it, at around 03:00-03:30 GST, but so far 5 times this morning, lag lasted around 30 secs- a minute, each and every time, all within a 30 min period.

It's been getting progressively worse over the past week or so, and it would be nice to know the cause.

Its not an ISP issue, as this is affecting people on different continents.

I've had to refresh the game about 5 times in the last few minutes it keeps happening, either freezing up or blue loading bar just keeps going when i click on something

Yep that's exactly what i mean, its consistently occurring.

Ahhh, the update is causing the lag. A bit annoying, but it glitched and I used 2 tms, got 2 extra raids in and it didn't actually use up any tms.

What "update" are you talking about? As far as i can see there's no forum announcement or in-game message.

We're not talking about a lag issue just this morning, its been around for a few days now, no update would cause that.

By update I meant backup.
