Eh ah ive got it... The deck count required for the medal is 1200 decks...
while Goliath requires 1050 decks..

Yep, that's what I'm saying, you just need to spend a Rank Point, after you're a Heavy Goliath, on something, anything, just spend it (preferably on Crew and not Decks).

After you reach that amount of Decks, you must wait until your Upkeep is deducted from you balance..

I had used ship bots to get to about 1210-1214 decks and no medal after a few days. Used some Rank Points on TOs after that and still no medal (wasn't expecting it either). It was only when I spent 1 RP on decks that the medal was awarded.

It is slow, i got it like this: Go to 1200 decks, used rank up rank points on Engineers and Tactical Officers, wondered why i didnt have the medal, had to go to school, left, came back, logged on, still didnt have the medal, refreshed, had the Medal, and u need to be Heavy Goliath, not Goliath.

I just got to exactly 1200 decks, collected and sold my hourly mineral shipment and the medal was awarded.
