Dis Bombs brocken??

Post subject:  Dis Bombs brocken??
I and a few others I have talked with then seen people under 15+ of this arty and still sporting there 50k atk . Seems like on a few people there just not working any more. Any of you guys know why this maybe happening. I had nealy 65K def put some one under 20+ bombs . I hit there ship and took over 1,500 points back the probe said that had over 90k atk and they hit like it to. How with that many atk debuffs? do people now have 1million unbuffed atk?

What I like to do is use an arti called a cage. It can restore your ship's attack to what it was and only takes a half a second to apply.

im talking about still under the artys effects. but funny to see you as the ones to fly in here.

Witch brings my question

Do they not work right any more, Are people doing funy stuff , Or when i see this happen they're online atking things. dose the same gltich that happens with nanos happen wth this arty aswell. but what are the adds that some one with 20 or so on them hits you back for over 1,500 pts. with 100kish atk

The attack the have after the d bomb is used is the one in their ship tab, but the probes like the planet display it is the last one they hit with. So if you probe someone, shoot them with a bomb there is no change for the probe or the planet display. If they were to hit something while you are throwing bombs their attack updates.

It is not broken.

Perhaps, just maybe, I know this is crazy...but they caged the bombs? I mean they were online were they not? actively hitting a base

they did not cage them.

Same thing happened to me. Debuffed someone with EMPs and used probes. Their defense didn't change according to the probe. I hit them and test out to see if the EMPs work, they didn't. I began checking his ship for any special arties which made him immune to debuffs or something, nada.


I checked and left a message on his comm saying EMPs weren't working. He has yet to reply.

just hit uprep with 20 emps probed, then hit, i hit for over 1k works fine for me.

The question was about Disarming Bombs, not EMP Spheres and I can confirm they're not seemingly appearing to work.

I found a Rank 950ish that would have had to have had 172k unbuffed Attack for their ship to continue to deal the damage it dealt after Containment Missile and 15+ Disarming Bombs active on it yesterday. Also, I am certain they did not use a Containment Cage, as I checked back very often.

I think the issue might lie with the probe, not with the bombs. They seemed to be having an effect, though the probe stated otherwise.

EDIT: Took someone down from 300 damage/hit to 1 damage/hit. Also the +attack/+defense still reports a change. Definitely the probe.

A few of the people above your post are reporting on actual damage figures, not Probe values, so definitely not just the probe.

That's very odd. Something's broken, certainly, but as I say - the effect worked fine in terms of damage dealing for me. :/

EDIT: Tested it again. Guy started with 4k attack. That hit 70 to 100 on me. Threw some DBombs, damage dropped to ~15 to 20. Probe still reported 4k attack.

tested on Moebius695 from CRA ( I meant to post on his comm but I lost link switching to forums :( )

was hitting 150-250

dropped 5 DB - hit from 80-200

Dropped 8 more - hit from 50 - 130

small sample .. but they seemed to work in this instance

After 7 DB's 177 - 315
