Lag is getting worse, to the point where it literally takes too long to get any value of playing.

Dan, I didn't come to this decision lightly, but here's the deal: I'm boycotting paid Galaxy Points until you fix lag. That's $50 every 2 weeks that I won't be buying; maybe not a lot when considering how much you sell on a regular basis, but every little bit matters.

Personally I think lag has a lot to do with what kind of device you're using to play and the speed of your interwebs.

I have terrible lag at home... b/c I have satellite internet. But I'm at my sisters house right now and she has fiber optics and it's lightning fast.

That's just my own personal opinion though.

No, it's Dan and his database. You might not believe me specifically, but I'm also not the only one who suspects it's a problem on Dan's end.

I love how your bashing the man who has the power to get rid of you lol. That's like saying to Obama's face, "Your doing a crap job at maintaining the country."

Not bashing. Just letting him know that the lag that we all deal with from time to time is becoming more frequent, to the point that I don't think it's worth my spending extra money any more. Stuff like strange PRNG behavior is one thing, but If I literally can't play because that blue bar takes up 30+ seconds between clicks, that's a whole new level of "crap job". If he wants to fix it, then I'll be happy to start buying GP again; if not, sucks for both of us. Although, to your point, I suppose I am now one of the vulnerable who Dan can "get rid of" now that I'm not buying GP.

You can make this about me if that makes you feel better, but there are plenty of other threads/complaints about lag that have nothing to do with me, so...

I also have a very good fiber op, but there is a lot of times where I'm getting nowhere on GL but the rest of teh webs is fine. Reminds me of last January some days...

For the record, I have high speed Xfinity (Comcast) cable Internet, the "Blast" package (50 MBps). GL is the only site that lags for me on a regular basis.

for me the lag is on regular basis - maybe every 100 clicks? - with a 3-5 seconds loading. I suspect this may be the game synchronizing with the server?
