From Feb 2014 Patch Notes Quote: Optional/Side Objectives - some missions have tasks that do not contribute towards the success or failure of the mission. They should generally only be chosen once the mission has already achieved a satisfactory chance of success. Contributors to these tasks will still be eligible for mission success rewards as if they had participated in a normal task. The mission will indicate if it has optional objectives. We are about to finish the "Arenas of the Darmos Games" for the second time. The first time we had the following distribution: T1 - Complete 15 T1 - Partial 4 T2 - Complete 17 T2 - Partial 3 Chance: Low This second time, we had T1 - Complete 15 T1 - Partial 2 T2 - Complete 11 T2 - Partial 9 T3 - Complete 8 T3 - Partial 1 Chance: High The numbers show (at least imply) that mission 3 is actually required to move past Low (or maybe fair if everyone in a legion was 100% complete on 1 and 2). Dan, can you confirm that this is intentional? |

if we go back around 35 hours, the Picture is even more clear with 35 hours left, it was Succes Chance: Fair T1 - Complete 7 T1 - Partial 8 T2 - Complete 6 T2 - Partial 13 T3 - Complete 2 T3 - Partial 7 Succes Chance: Fair (35 hours left) those numbers are a bit closer to the first time we did it Quote: T1 - Complete 15 T1 - Partial 4 T2 - Complete 17 T2 - Partial 3 Chance: Low T1: 15 + 4 ( = 19) vs 7 + 8 ( = 15) T2: 17 + 3 ( = 20) vs 6 + 13 ( = 19) T3 0 + 0 (= 0) vs 2 + 7 ( = 9) sucess chance low vs Fair more members on task 1 +2, more completions, but still only Low chance vs the Fair chance we had with 2 completions and 7 partials on task 3 so the optinal task on this one, semes to make quite a difrence when it comes to success chance |
