That's usually the reward for completing that mission task...it's a nice item. I'm up to 4 of them, myself...got a little more research to do before I start upgrading my guns.

havok vs havoc isnt a typos
that just depend on what the reference is to....

the clasic ofcourse beeing "Cry 'Havoc!', and let slip the dogs of war". , from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar
but you can also find references where it is spelled with a K

Only if those references also contain typos, or are intentional misspellings

Havoc Coils (Uses Left: 27)

*i* didn't call it a typo and i don't care which way it is spelled, but the fact is that the description and the item are inconsistent.

they are all NAMES, so you cant misspell those as the person naming a band, company or caracter desides persisly how it should be spelled....

the word we disagrey on is misspellings....

when you name something havok, it's not an intentional misspellings, but the way you want it to be spelled

so basickly I dont care if Dan cals them Havoc Coils or Havok Coils
he named the artifact, so he can spell it any way he wants

Darkmar, you are missing the point.
Dan did name them Havoc coils, as pointed out by Senator, but the description does not match what he named it.
So clearly one of the two is a misspelling.

no I'm not, fully aware that it spelled 2 difrent ways if you compair the artifact vs the messages that says you got it
just tiered about players automaticaly asuming that Havoc i the corect way it should be spelled here

if you use that argument The Scruuge are also mispelled, as dan didnt do it the same way as Shakespeare

I get what you're saying Darkmar, just don't think it matters because one way or another there is a mistake.

To use your Scruuge example, it would only be the same situation if Dan spelled Scruuge one way in one place and Scrooge in another.
Scruuge would also fit into the category of an intentional misspelling for humorous effect.

As you rightly pointed out, proper nouns can be whatever you like, but one way or another, there is a misspelling of either Havoc in the item or Havok in the description, regardless of which is the proper noun Dan chose.

So for me, the fact you can have different names is kinda beside the point, the point is consistency of use of whatever proper noun is chosen.

I do enjoy the irony of DarkMar having a discussion centred around "misspelling".
