Anyone have any idea why for some people it works right away? I've had two people send friend requests and I've shown up instantly to them but I can't see them.

Alright two players who have had me show up after dan's update have had a certain privacy setting set to yes. Dan can you elaborate at all?

Dan implemented a fix and it is working "for some". I've had no one new show up on my list, but other people have been able to see me. Heres Dan's post on the topic, however it is pretty vague. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=43210

If you're that desperate then there are Trade pacts- officers/leaders can set this up and most legions have a floating pact Middle man- Friend of that friend? Travel- go to their legion(Complete desperation) Note: Not working for me either

Hey Dan/GL support... any news on progress with the friends list? It's really kinda unfair (and I imagine disheartening) that there are certain people I can disable who can't hit me back because I show up to them as "Friend," as well as people I can steal planets from without fear of retaliation/alert! If there is no fix in sight, is there a way to disable "friends" altogether so people are at least affected equally?

I am also not getting an updated list. I have been in a new legion for almost a month and have been friended with several there and it still doesn't show them as friends in GL. Def not fixed here.

I've found that when I add new friends, they do not always show on the Legion tab in the 'View Friends' list. However, when on the Trade tab and I click the 'Send' button next to the artifact I want to send, then the friend's name will usually show up in the list under 'Friends'. I have also had the experience where I can see and send artifacts to newly added friends, but they can't see or send artifacts to me.

im still having people iv unfriended showing up as friends, and new friends not showing up in friends list. Quite annoying this now to be honest...

Ehh I give up, not like you even seem to care. it's a frigging facebook issue. this is the only game i still play on facebook as many devs have given up on trying to keep up with all the changes that facebook keeps making to their backend. i'm just surprised that Dan hasn't given us a way to play outside of facebook. the only advantage to staying on facebook is the increased (???) exposure and the payment processing. if Dan allowed us to port our existing GL accounts to some other platform, i would have deleted my facebook account over a year ago.
