if you are guaranteed a drop if you lock then what happens when you have 6 or more lock on a lazuli carrier
i mena you could literally get close to 100% and make it repair itself and get another 5 and another 5 and another 5 until your entire legion is locked on it

The LOCK symbol has to MEAN something(I get the drop - guaranteed) or get rid of it (and then only the top 5 damagers get a drop then)

and not have a contradiction on what locking is

None of that needs to occur, all it takes is temporarily kicking the players(from your legion) that cause the Attiroth to repair and leave them a ship comm telling them to be more careful in the future and let them rejoin.

They will either stop causing the repairs, or they will cease hitting any future alerted Attiroth, either way, win/win.

Much simpler fix than writing an entirely new piece of lock mechanism code specifically for the Attiroth NPC.

Officers/Leaders a lot of the time look to Dan for fixes to issues that they can solve themselves with 2 simple pushes of a button.... Kick > Yes to Confirm.

Remember, a player whom repairs an Attiroth(or locks a base w/out permission, or kills NPC's early, or steals a planet not meant for them) and doesn't learn after a warning(and a temp kick) is either an idiot or doing it on purpose(they don't care), either way it's proof that they're a detriment to that legion and need to removed permanently, including officer/leaders that do this too.
