Has anyone tried sending a ticket in on this one? No one has gotten the 7th vision and I am inclined to think it hasn't been unlocked despite people having purchased 3 will of the Eye artifacts.

Hopeful someone gets a response soon. I'll have 3rd additional vision about wednesday, so the theoretical possibility anyways for myself as well.

Just got the 7th Vision today - Vision of Duty
(When completing your next daily mission, you will also receive 2 Corruption.)

"next daily mission", so no need to worry about Mawks.

Thanks. I was wondering since there is already an issue with the adventure vision.

Totally mate, I suffered from that several times as well... 3 Adventures in a row over Mawks made for very few useful visions over a long period of time.

Why wouldn't you wait til there were less than 3 days in the mawks mission before activating the eye? Sure it would be nice to have a vision every 30 hours but the risk of having 36 hours of "blindness" just isn't worth it.

Because I got 3 in a row ...oh wait, I already explicitly said that.
As a general rule, 3 in a row on successful Mawks chain with a 72 hour timer on a 96-hour LM will not work out well.

In my case, the first one was already in effect and clicked off just before the effect ran out when I completed the Mawks LM for the first time.
Receiving Adventure again triggered the guaranteed 72-hour wasted vision.

Regardless of how disappointing this is, "waiting 3 days in the mawks mission before activating the eye" is still 72 hours of wasted time, during which you could - or more likely will not - receive the Vision of Adventure.
So probably not the best advice imo: just in case you receive a Vision of Adventure (max chance 1 in 4, possibly 1 in 7) wait 72 hours into Mawks before using it, in case you miss out on 72 hours ;)

Call me strange, but given the choice between a guaranteed loss of 72 hours and possible loss of 72 hours, I will spin the wheel and take the possible chance of a loss over the guaranteed.

if you HAVE Mawks up when a vision expires .. you don't have to wait 72 hours to activate the next vision to guarantee that it won't be blocked by the Mawks timer.. you only have to wait 24 hours (25 to give you a hour to finish the next LM task if you get Adventure redux).

since i won't be able to use any Corruption for awhile, i have passed on activating the Oruas reset ability a few times where the reset will be effectively wasted. those who do have access to the Corruption market artis would likely still use the reset ability every time to gain more Corruption.

Yep, this is indeed true, waiting 24 or 25 hours would allow you to at least get the relic badges at the end of 72 hours, which is undoubtedly better than nothing.
If I knew for sure the RNG was going to present another statistically unlikely Adventure vision then I would probably choose to do that.

Nonetheless, and despite some bad luck in the past, I will happily continue to spin the wheel in the future in the hope that I get at least one yummy thing like an adumbrate station upgrade over the (hopefully numerous) vision opportunities over that 4 day period, rather than the one unlucky choice which locks up the process until it expires.
It's just bad luck when unlucky timing and RNG coincide in nasty ways. Sometimes these things just happen.
