i have sent Dan tickets and will wait to see if he fixes this problem. also talked to friends who have said they are using 200 energy, instead of 100, for trades with Chuhn Merchants. i have had same issue, but thought i was imagining it. some are sending tickets about it.

This has been confirmed. I Re-Equipped my arms and ran 5 tests selling off 20 artis each of credit rewarding artis. Results follow.

Chaostatic Inhibitor - Average sale: 23,392, Range: 10,034-39,043
Dark Eluder Matrix - Average sale: 16,820, Range: 8,429-29,455
EMP Sphere - Average sale: 12,452, Range: 6,331-17,779
Flux Probe - Average sale: 2,642, Range: 1,386-4,658
Omicron Mine Trap - Average sale: 11,697, Range: 5,918-19,039

This is a small sampling size and I do hope it was a new problem as at the beginning of the event I scrapped 1,485 artis for 27,135 CTP. I would hat to think I was short changed there as well.

They do work? Someone already confirmed that they were working on the official Chuhn 2016 thread.

Perhaps It may be not working for those that bought arms this year. The confirmation of it working was on someone that bought upgrades to arms of the past.

Having the same issue, only had enough space to install one though; still have another sitting in my hold. Unfortunately I was too noob to realize it was not working, and thought it was just a silent effect, and scrapped lots of artifacts anyway before I was informed today by a friend to submit a support ticket about it not working.

I tested them after upgrading on cloning pods. It took scrapping a lot of them to get a definitive result; you can check there for the actual values. Basically, I was looking for a scrap value less than the minimum I should get with a 26% bonus to confirm they weren't working, or a scrap value higher that maximum you could get with a 20% bonus. I managed to get a value higher than the 20%, but as I just mentioned, it took a while. I wasn't counting so not sure how many total I scrapped.

I just tried again, and scrapped 4 cloning pods before getting one that scrapped for 9879; they scrap for 2000-8000, so the definitive values should be less than 2000-2399 that they don't work at all, 2400-2519 that they only offer a 10% bonus (times 2), 2520-9600 (indeterminate result, though anything 8001+ means that they're at least getting some bonus), 9601-10,080 means that they work with teh upgrades (13% times 2), and anything over that means that you're getting a larger bonus than we should be.

It's possible it is working for credits and not ctp, I didn't test any ctp-scrappable items (just went thorugh and scrapped everything assuming it works.)

You could do a ctp-scrappable item the same way (adjusting the numbers, obviously) to see if it's working there.

I checked, and I do have an effet:
Chuhn Salvage Arm V2 Effect : Scrapping +13%
(2 active)

lets see...

1 cloning pod = 2000 to 8000 cr.
and Chuhn Salvage Arm V2 Effect : Scrapping +13% (2 Active)
and chuhn bonus of 0%, as "Scrapping artifacts for Complex Tech Parts will yield additional parts." only works for CTP's

so they should scrap for betwen 2000 * 1.13 * 1.13 = 2553.8 cr and 8000 * 1.13 * 1.13 = 10.215.2 cr

100 * 1 Cloning Pods(s) scrapped for ...... gave these data

4,640 credits, 3,196 credits, 8,918 credits, 7,984 credits, 9,361 credits, 7,312 credits, 5,420 credits, 6,024 credits, 7,940 credits, 6,290 credits.

8,156 credits, 2,899 credits, 3,826 credits, 2,784 credits, 3,252 credits, 9,330 credits, 4,605 credits, 6,503 credits, 8,291 credits, 3,826 credits

8,465 credits, 8,542 credits, 4,204 credits, 7,498 credits, 4,110 credits, 2,726 credits, 8,599 credits, 7,297 credits, 4,677 credits, 5,327 credits

3,688 credits, 4,099 credits, 2,578 credits, 3,334 credits, 4,883 credits, 4,288 credits, 7,009 credits, 6,580 credits, 8,273 credits, 2,688 credits

8,877 credits, 9,342 credits, 10,100 credits, 9,697 credits, 6,711 credits, 3,971 credits, 9,900 credits, 7,973 credits, 5,548 credits, 6,775 credits

6,849 credits, 7,637 credits, 8,830 credits, 7,521 credits, 6,105 credits, 2,555 credits, 6,639 credits, 8,557 credits, 2,579 credits, 3,497 credits

3,884 credits, 3,831 credits, 3,854 credits, 5,920 credits, 3,556 credits, 2,818 credits, 4,422 credits, 3,254 credits, 9,037 credits, 4,749 credits

9,334 credits, 6,272 credits, 2,560 credits, 3,151 credits, 7,237 credits, 5,939 credits, 9,266 credits, 5,012 credits, 6,461 credits, 5,766 credits

3,492 credits, 3,231 credits, 3,385 credits, 4,663 credits, 9,881 credits, 6,705 credits, 9,633 credits, 6,691 credits, 3,675 credits, 7,932 credits

4,038 credits, 8,900 credits, 8,751 credits, 2,618 credits, 9,019 credits, 9,209 credits, 7,916 credits, 4,762 credits, 6,611 credits, 4,608 credits

min scrap 2,555 credits witch is more then the 2553.8 cr calcylated based on 2 * 13% bonus
and
max scrap 10,100 credits witch is again less then 10.215.2 cr calcylated based on 2 * 13% bonus

it's only 100 scraps, and you are welcome to log data for 10.000 scraps if you want
but acording to this little test, the 13% bonus apears to be working

if it had only been 10%, the max scrap vaule would have been 8000 * 1.10 * 1.10 = 9680
and theire are 3 results above that value...

We have some great mathematicians in here but none appear to have read the first post wherein the OP shows that the person, despite having the modules installed, is missing the ship effect on their ship. :)

I saw that, which is why I pointed out in my thread that I do have the effect. I was also pointing out that for folks that have the effect, they definitely work.

no kikke, saw that...
but I can't test where or not they work on his ship.

and just becourse the effect doesnt show, it doesnt mean it's not theire
a good example of thet is the Litheor Tetractic Crystal, whitc gives you 10% bonus production on any planet where you use a Terraforming Device, it's not listed on ship - but you still get the effect every time you use a Terraforming Device

so could be interesting to see where:

they actualy work and it only the effect that is just missing from effects tab
or
if they actualy dont give any effect at all

That's because that's considered to be an active effect. It's method of activation just differs from other active abilities, however. Once you've used a Terraformer, you'll see the effect on the planet.
