To do this mission "You must install one or more 'Korteth Plating' modules on your ship." I scrapped my Korteth plating when I got them and am now too high in rank to get Korteth, Crimson Carriers. Does anyone know of a way I can still do this mission ... I really want the Rikthar's War Forges from the following mission. |

Nope. You're unable to progress this mission chain. Sorry buddy. I'd recommend contact Dan, but I know for a fact that he won't give you the Platings. He may remove the restriction on the mission though. I feel like that kind of content restriction is kinda crappy. |

looking at the wiki page for the mission the restriction isn't crappy but makes sense. The mission gives an artifact that is used to upgrade those platings |

I had a friend who missed out on teh weapons and Dan give him 4 weapons which aren't required for any mission. There's no reason he wouldn't do that for the platings for you as well. You tell him you made a mistake is all. It happens. Send a ticket. |

Do the Siraker Hull upgrades wipe out any current upgrades on the korteth hulls, or do those carry forward? |

Thanks, I had looked at the wiki page, but the way I read it it basically says that they can be upgraded, it doesn't explicitly say that previously applied upgrades wouldn't be lost. So now that I know about them thanks to this thread, I was curious if the 50% upgraded korteth plating and 25% upgraded korteth plating would still have those specific upgrades when they're converted. Mystery solved.  And, when I have spare energy, I now have a new chain to work on as the defense bonus would be nice too...
