 Perpetual HyperTurbine not upgrading

I've heard this works for some people and I've heard that it doesn't work for others. It is NOT working for me. It upgraded twice from the Tejiar Reformation mission but then stopped. When I did another run 2 days ago of the Tejiar mission, it did not upgrade it. I thought that was odd and did a run of the Science Summit mission which also did not upgrade it. So I sent a ticket. I did the Tejiar mission again yesterday and still no upgrade. My structure is at a perpetual III upgrade. I don't get the pattern here, why it would work for some but not others.

great, after the maintenance today, I'm stuck with a Perpetual HyperTurbine II Artifact: 2, Bonus Artifact: 2%
that doesnt upgrade when I do daily missions :(

not sure why this is so hard, didnt we have an ally that ranked on dailes?

Yep seh'rin. You gotta wonder why it'd work for him but not planet structures

becourse with planet structures, that can change hands as planets get invaded - things become a bit more complicated.

what happens, if you have a planet with a Perpetual HyperTurbine II already
and then invade 2 planet that also have, say Perpetual HyperTurbine III and Perpetual HyperTurbine I
whitch one should your daily mission then upgrade ?, or is it even your daily missions that upgrade them or the players who originaly placed them's missions ?

and what happens, if you delete a Perpetual HyperTurbine III from one of your planets ?
does that reset your count and let you place a new one, or are you stuck unable to upgrade a structure that no longer exits ?

depend on how Dan programed it, a lot of things could go wrong with this one
and aperently it have.........

Logically, I think the game would upgrade the first non-fully upgraded turbine that it encountered. I don't see why it would be an issue unless Dan has seriously messed up somewhere.

well, i don't plan on getting greedy with this one .. will just buy and install ONE hyperturbine a day and fully upgrade it with 4 dailies.

the ct.lab isn't going anywhere, so i could have a hyperturbine on every one of my arti production planets in a year or less.

Hi everyone,

there is currently an issue that is causing the upgrade trigger to be wiped whenever a player decides to change their Race/Profession. We are working on a fix today. In the meantime, if you *have* placed a structure, please hold off on changing your race until this is sorted. Thanks a lot!

That's a weird one, and quite unexpected. Oh well, I hope it's an easy fix. Sounds like it could be kinda pesky.

looks like the problem is fixed for me now
but will proberly happen again when I change profession for scruuge season, unless theire is a parmanent fix before then

when something new in the dancode is seriously broken yeah. It happens mostly when medal triggers aren't happening for seasonals.

The issue has been fixed. There is still a small set of players who have previously changed races that may be missing the trigger, however. We are systematically updating those.
