 FIXED!: Lazuli Shipyards (and more!!!) broken

After noticing the defense bonus for Lazuli Shipyards disappeared when the last CTP was harvested from their ability, I kept a closer watch the next time I received one, noting AP and RP before, during and after.

Not only does the defense bonus disappear (which seemed unnecessarily cruel to me) but the structure itself appears to lose all production.
It becomes a size one paperweight.

Still displays supposed stats (minus defense bonus which disappears the moment the 10th ability is used) but does not appear to produce anything at all.

It makes you wonder how many other structures do this once they run out of charges....

While I wouldn't be prepared to bet my life on it, I am 99% sure this is the only one I've ever found.

To be honest, if it wasn't for my habitual spreadsheeting and record keeping I probably wouldn't have noticed.

Looking back now, it became obvious why a good 10 of my planets all started displaying slightly lower stats out of nowhere... I realize now it was from when I hit the optimum 10 Shipyards and cashed in the CTP. Had been scratching my head until I finally kept a close eye.

I did notice a recent drop on a few of my best planets a few weeks ago. Upon review I noticed those with the Chuhn Scrap Depot were missing 6 Mining and 3 Artifact from hovering over the Resources for each compared to adding up all the planetary artifacts for each resource. But I could not figure out why this was not happening with all my planets with a Chuhn Scrap Depot until I read your post. And sure enough those with zero charges left were missing the resource production from the planet artifact.

Furthermore, I had a planet missing an additional 3 Mining, 1 Artifact, 2 Research. This matched up with the Q-Pedd Docking Station, which is also at zero charges left.

Lastly, I had another planet missing 1 from each resource when I looked 3 weeks ago. I suspect it was from a Lutuma Command Module with zero charges left. I have since upgraded it to a Dark Command Alcove and the planet now matches up with 2 resource each from it.

I have a planet with 11 charges left on a Dark Command Alcove, so in about 2 weeks I can confirm if it looses 2 resources each.

Definitely this is a bug that needs to be looked into.

Cheers mate, thanks for looking into that. It makes the problem considerably worse and considerably more widespread.
I guess we can only hope that it might get looked into because it seems like a systemic problem with that type of artifact

I have filed a ticket on this and have a response. They are looking for planet examples of the problem. I have sent them a screenshot of one of my planets showing the problem with a Lazuli Shipyard. They need more examples of other things this is occurring with i.e. Q-Pedd Docking Station, Lutuma Command Modules, Dark Command Alcoves, Vorean Casinos, Elios Heliacal Plants, etc.

Please sound off with planet names on which this has occurred. It will help us get a great deal of production back.

Clearly it is not just Lazuli Shipyards that are exhibiting this problem.
Fair guess that exhausted abilities on Dark Command Alcove *might* be responsible for missing 2 production of all 3, but I can't even take a wild stab in the dark at where the extra 4 missing mining might come on top of that.

EDIT: Correction, I must have done something wrong for this calculation, created an automatic copy and paste auditor and that one shows -2 on all production, consistent with Dark Command Alcove losing all production once ability is exhausted.

A fix has been released for both the Lazuli Shipyards and Dark Command Alcoves (and quite possibly the other artifacts which I have no way of confirming) , so they are now working as expected and all abilities can be used. Sweet!
