Post subject:  HUGE lag with Trade Tab/Adding Artifacts
The trade tab has been painfully slow to load for several days now (10+ seconds), and every android, bracket, etc. added now takes a minimum of 2 seconds.

The slow loading occurs regardless of browser or device used. I have cleared cache, etc.

The slow usage of artifacts occurs regardless of where they are being clicked from: trade tab is especially slow; adding from Ship Tab, NPCs, base, or planet all yield similar slow results.

I assumed this was a game wide thing, because there have been a lot of complaints about lag recently, but in the cases of a lot of my fellow complainers, the issue seems to have resolved on its own. It has not with me.

Unless I'm cool with only collecting AP like two or three times a day and never adding another XCharge Cell, this lag is game breakingly bad.

Have sent in a ticket, but am posting this here, too, because other people may be experiencing it as well.

Dur. OK, it was user error.

I haven't been on much lately and really dislike stacking artifacts.

This led to many, many, many thousands total artifacts in my cargo.

I clicked the "Stack All Artifacts" button, and am down to 249 total artifacts in cargo, and everything is back to normal speed.

What's interesting is how this affected some aspects of the game (made TRADE tab very difficult to open, slowed artifact usage to 1/4 speed and PVP to 1/2 speed), but had minimal effect on others (NPCs and Bases seemed relatively unaffected).

Anyhoo... my bad :)

I go and stack every so often during NPC binges, just to stack however many dozen NPC drops, specifically because it does help a little bit with lag

Aside from the sharing of RSL items and such, why would you not stack?

As with pretty much every long-time player, I find adding rank points, XCharge Cells, etc. to be extremely tedious and frustrating. It's gotten to the point where I'm sitting on 21k Rescued Prisoners and 14k rank points. Probably won't ever get around to adding those, but I've found that not stacking makes adding incoming Rescued Prisoners and such seem less daunting/depressing.

So... no practical reason other than the fact that I'm more likely to actually add my points when they are sitting in smaller bunches vs. looking at a huge pile that I know I'll never get around to completing :)

yeah, while i understand the philosphy of the click to win...totally on a psych and game buy in perspective...it becomes more daunting each week...clicking all these pts is more like a job than fun...i try to add between other actions so mix it up and keep them in check..but its like fighting the national debt... the incoming amounts are exceeding efforts to reduce
