My FB account was hacked. They changed the email address and I cannot log back in. This happened Sunday morning while I was away and I need to contact FB. Any Ideas? I had my account set up to alert me to accept log ins so I don't know how they bypassed it. |

Thanks. I'll give it a go. I've already uploaded my DL and tried the link. My phone number and email were changed so I'm still having issues. The link takes me back to log in with a new password. Since my email was removed, I cannot start the process. |

I've tried every outlet that FB has to offer. I cannot get anywhere because they changed my email address and my phone number. I have the email showing it was changed. I was driving when this happened Sunday and didn't check my email until four hours later. You can't call FB and you can't get support unless you are logged in. They were able to log into my account without alerts, but, when I log into my account, I would get a passcode text to enter. |

It is crazy that FB let them change the phone number AND email that easily without any verification. What I would suggest is have someone of your family with a FB account contact FB and send them a copy of the email you got as well as all the details. |

This link has great tips to avoid being hacked or cloned. https://www.techlicious.com/tip/faceboo ... t-cloning/ Also avoid click bait where it's like your rockstar name is last thing you ate and the day you were born. Its phishing so figure out your rockstar name in your head and don't put it out here on social media for some hacker to figure you out and hack your stuff. Hope this helps you for in the future. |
