I used it after successful hack. It said that I use the gift of the naughty and reduce something at 30%. I wish I caught the message directly? But I am not sure how do you know if this item is working? Nothing was listed on the effects tab.

Dan, can you specify exactly how the bypass works please? i successfully used one earlier today but did not see any of the enemy ship's weapons or defenses go offline. is the bypass a status condition that can be removed by containment cages? Or does it just take 5 modules offline as if they were uninstalled?

The Bypass uninstalls modules on the enemy ship, turning them offline. Note that they will not take durability damage when going offline in this way.

That's nice at least. It'd be pretty annoying to need to repair your ship and your weapons and defense.

Is there a wait before the enemy can bring these modules online? I would hope there is a least a 5 min window of effect.
