Pull up a friend, click "use abilities", close the window for abilities. It will now treat friend as foe, allowing actions that shouldn't be taken against friends.

um where do you find use abilities ?

Under actions. Perhaps you have to have one for it to show up ? It occurred to me this allows badge farming without retaliation with friends.

I have a bunch just dont see it under legion friends looking at a friends ship thats why i ask where are you seeing use abilities

I just tried it as well, and you are correct.

The button only shows up when you have an ability to use. I don't know if it stays if you no longer have an ability.

More detail, I believe you must have exotic algorithm which shows ability on ships and npc (not all race ability do according to ppl). Then, must be someone not in your legion. It functions as a permanent link basically for combat, which I dont think was the intention for anyone in friends list. Result of adding the new feature probably for abilities. But also if you click on a friend's legion then close it same result occurs -- so no ability required but both cases need to be fixed.

if you click on the legion they're in then go back to their ship they show as enemy too

Really, REALLY not liking this.

I have more than 50 friends in GL. Mostly from back in the old days when we were all in DOO. Dysonians (well, ANY legion) has room for only 50 people. It kind of sucks...but ok, learn to live with it.

Now, many of us are in a rival legion/legions...NI is full of people on my friends list, and like you do with friends, we battle back and forth. I don't get mad, and we battle and attack each other, and brag, tease or give props on comms.

Now we can't even do that? Most of the people in my $#@(&*^ battle tab were on my friends list...the air is rare up above 400 for players to fight.

Not liking this at all. Booooo. It's like mommy and daddy don't want sibling rivalry.
