Lately when I'm under the planets tab the game locks up, a popup says the script is causing my computer to slow down, I click on it and it's fine for about 2 clicks, then locks up again.
I thought it was my computer since it was getting old, but I just bought a new one and it's the same.
Took forever to do a scan blitz.
I run IE7

I have the same problem for the past week or two, I run both IE7 and Firefox and the problem happens with both browsers.

ok for a start stop using IE7, either upgrade to IE8, Chrome or Firefox.
IE7 is totally outdated
Have you both got upto date Java installed?

IE9 just arrive. Firefox 4. Chrome 10.
But all facebook look more and more unsable with IE. It's time for revolution. IE to trash!

Is this being addressed or not?
It's not like I'm using some obscure browser, I'm using the most popular OS on the planet.
It's almost impossible for me to do things with my planets.

The planets tab uses Javascript-based filtering. On older browsers, such as IE7 and IE8, Javascript runs VERY slow. If you have a very large planet list, you should try to upgrade to IE9, or use an alternate browser that already has a modern JS engine.

Happened to me all the time with IE. Since switching to Firefox never happens.. not to mention the game runs better.

Chrome Although, it leaks memory and the individual window I have to close and reopen GL... but I'm not sure if it's GL AJAX calls leaking memory or some FB chat or ads or whatever... I know flash leaks memory but that's entirely FB flash on the page for some tracking thing you don't see.

I see GL in chrome tabs quite frequently use up over 1.1GB ram, sometimes even over 1.5GB ram giving my computer a very laggy feeling (and i got 4GB ram on the computer tho)
