My research doesn't add up It seems to lose 1 or 2 point each accumulated iteration. A hack would get more than that. Seems like a rounding thing to me. Eg 210/HR might really be 209.6? Rounded up I get 210. But accumulated I get less by a fraction? Either that or I'm getting hacked for 1 or 3 points? |

the research number is rounded to the nearest whole number, but your actual production follows your planets' production, which may be at a fraction. |

I agree that it's simply a rounding issue. My current (actual) production is 544.46 per hour. The Research tab says that my production is 545, which is rounded up to the next whole number. However, I alternate between 544 points and 545 when that .46 adds up to make an extra full point. |

lol I once waited a whole hour for the last amount to do a research, for I needed exactly what I was producing an hour to complete it, and it got down to it and I was still one point short. Just one point because it didn't round up that time. lol So I just hacked someone to get the last point that I needed.

yeah i noticed that too on a couple things so if your research/mining/ or artifact per hour is, let's say it SHOWS, 1000 per hour. It could actually be something like 999.512343... so that means you will have OFF hours and over a period of 8 hours being away instead of having 8000 research you might have 7996 or something. And my question is.. why did you have to wait a WHOLE hour for a few points of research? why didn't you just wait till you have 5 energy and hack someone? |
