When the game lags badly, can you just lock everyone out. I am tired of getting robbed because I cannot respond to anything my nemesis does.

I totally agree.
It was OK this morning. But in the last hour it seems to be getting slower as time goes on.
Just lock everyone out for the time needed to perform the maintenance.
If your waiting for new hardware:
maybe you could give everyone 5 minutes and then lock the player out for 1 hour. So they can check in, do their thing, and not constantly be raided. With a fast server response allot can get done in 5 minutes.


At the very least please keep us updated as you can.

It may be that Dan is sleeping after having been up late trying to take care of this. I hope Dan is the lead but others are helping him.

We're working on an option to prevent new player signups to help with some of the load (to roll out today)- since the server buildout may take some time.

I am not worried about new players, they are harmless.

I am talking about the guy who has leveled 30 times in the past 2 days and hacked/raided me about 20 times (not an exaggeration) last night. We have been warring all week and when I was locked out last night he was somehow still in and robbed me blind.

You need to lock out EVERYONE when the servers don't perform for EVERYONE.

Either lock everyone out when hardware problems occur -- Or limit the time they can stay on such as I suggested.
I know what happened to Kaos didn't happen to me but I'm just saying.

Did some like what happened to Kaos happen to you? What are your thoughts about being locked out for days at a time?

It's a facebook game that you don't even pay for. So the servers go down for a few hours, go listen to some music, play another game, or hit up a console or something. It's not the end of the world.

So your nemesis steals you of everything you have. It's not like it's impossible to rebuild in this game, it's actually on the contrary relatively easy.
