 Hacking with 3 QFW debuffs

So, exactly how does someone with 3 -99.99% cloak debuffs continue to hack?

Well...there is a +50 cloak buff, but it's reduced to less than .1% in effect. So again...how does someone with that many debuffs hack someone with about 2.2k scan up?

There is some mechanic I am not getting or understanding...and I have screen caps, before you ask.

When you use a buff up on top of a debuff it goes for the most recent one used. So you would get the full 50 cloak from the buff. So this way you could still hack with the debuff on because of the buff. Now if another player would use a missile on the player that has the buff on taking it away the player could then proceed to but on another buff and hack yet again for a third time making him have three QFW's on at once. The process could keep going till either he runs out of the buffs or the other players stop using missiles on him.

Correct. I have only tested this once and I had to use 8 flairs on a rank 380 player who has 3 X-Manifold Detector - Mark III's on, with a lot of the extra stuff on as well.

so with 2.2k scan, and only a dark pyramid to help hack, you would need 6 flares to even have a chance while firewalled. and if they tried doing this the previous time as well, it would take:
6+ quantum flares,
2 time manipulators,
40 energy (+5 more for every flare over 6 he used)
and 2 containment missiles (from someone else)

I've gotten up to 4, but I've never had anyone help with missiles.
