once upon a time before rank 2000 there was the warp station, command nexus, lazuli super hauler and everyones fav the hypergrid now they all gone smacked around by high ranks for so long they run scared and no longer are seen on our npc scan tabs leaving only the fabrication plant, sithion queen, hyperport and Crimson Hauler. but in the far off **galaxy of Dan**  could there be a new mysterious SUPER elite this is no push over elite it's only for the hardened and trained NPC fighters this one is only for the above 1800 ranks but this one is different not many legions have more than 1 high level player but the Super elite can be alerted to up to 3 other legions 1 friendly Napped and 2 Enemy non Napped legions. The nexus it has its normal rewards and rare smugglers cache the super elite has its normal rewards but with a rare base upgrade 1 only per elite 50% chance you help your legion or napped legion, 50% chance you help your enemy but it can only be defeated with 4 players. what do you do dont leave us big ships endlessly cruising the galaxy looking for just another flamehawk give us the challenge our ships deserve. just a idea Adrien12 Co-leader of the Galatic Paladins

More NPC's would be nice, but a super elite only seen by incredibly high rankers? Umm...yeah...no... What I want to see is more NPC's with no upper rank limit and maybe more matched elites.

ithought when rank caps where 1st made nexus hyper grids and ones like that had 9999 and i thought Dan for some reason changed this made me thought we would get more npc. Dan should incrase the rank caps uptill he is able to bring us content. It's rather lame to lose 5 Npc's and not get a thing like this.
I also know of a few players who have slowed ranking and there play time so they can farm the npc's they want. this is not good. just makes it easser for people to walk away and lave GL all together. logging on collecting drops and hoping a few npc's got alerted is not good.

some of the npcs dont have rank caps for when they get alerted.. queens are 9999, i havent checked the others that i alert, just happened to notice that one. and i dont know if you guys stop seeing those at a high enough rank.

All alertable NPC's have rank caps. It just two that have enormous rank caps.

ok, but rank cap and FINDING cap are separate right? you stop seeing queens but they can be alerted? or is that wrong?

Removing the rank caps I don't think is the way to go. As you rank up, your ship SHOULD be getting stronger and stronger. Meaning you are going to have an increasingly easy time getting locks on them because they are ranked and have a static damage cap. Anyone over probably somewhere between 900 and 1000 is going to start capping Queens and Fabs unbuffed. Myself, I really think we just need another tier of Elite/Boss NPCs. Something above the Nexus, Graxis, Fab, Queen, Hive, etc. Like we got with the Hyperport. And even those are becoming increasingly easy to lock in the low to mid 900s.
No Icarium, if you are in the rank range for an NPC, you can find them as well as accept the shares.

No Icarium, if you are in the rank range for an NPC, you can find them as well as accept the shares. Yes i would love to see new Nexus, Graxis and stuff like that, would be great in my mind, but i would rather have the rank caps removed for those NPC's in the higher tier of each faction, than be stuck with new NPC's with 3k cloak or if current trend continues, 4500 cloak, wherein we see them once in a blue moon.

thanks darth, i was wondering about that for a while. but its never been a big bother, just missing those super easy mega complexs

@Kirk I don't even acknowledge the existence of the Kelethor. Dan really dropped the ball with that "cool new NPCs" idea.
@Icky Get a little stronger and Nexus are just as easy as DMCs. Unfortunately they have a somewhat lower Cache rate though.

ive got no problem locking them, i just loved being able to see the DMCS at rank 599, it gave me an extra npc chance at a cache. it seems that the DCNs dont spawn as often (opinion) and i havent seen a cache in my cargo buy for probably 3 months now... 30+ DCNs dropped.. atleast..

i agree with darth that upper ranks should have stronger NPC so caps are good, how ever untill we get knew NPC's the currant ones should not be removed , untill we get a better Dark npc the nexus should be the max, same with XPR and others. Like with the hyper grin making a hyper port i have no issue losing them however i don't think we should lose npcs like this with out a replacement.

I'd like to see mid-high rank NPC bosses that deliver upgraded equivalent rewards for the ones we have lost out on. For example, at rank 600 you lose the Lazuli Refinery Center, which drops Gas Igniter Rods and Eruption Channellers. Nothing replaces these. Why not? How about something new that drops an upgraded version of the Igniter Rods and Eruption Channellers? Or how about an arty that works on other planet types that don't yet get any arty love, like Icy, Desert, and Terra planets?

yeah.. those icies dont melt, the deserts dont crystallize and the terras certainly dont turn into gaias... whatever will we do without those extra planet artis.
conductive pillars from crimson scythes ringing any bells? they work on any planet.
