I love this idea, but can I suggest that we also add mass surface melters, and the other artifacts from that chain to a new npc like a T.O. colony ship, that way it might be more balanced, but I like the idea of a rare drop for those and I think we should remove the 15x mega rich limit, if someone wants to wait their time and money on one planet, let them, have it go up to the game limit of 50x mega rich!

Serorusly you want too punish people who buy gp by not giving them the same chance of getting GP from the daily freebie? that isn't how you retain paying customers.....

since they already BUY gp, then why would they need to get FREE gp? most of the people who buy GP do it with some regularity. when I have spare money I'll buy GP, but I don't think big spenders like Nocifer or AFluffyBunny need FREE GP, it can always be a free GP scaled to how often you buy, the less you buy, the slightly more likely you are to get those 2 free GP

notice the part where I say when I have spare money I buy GP.

also, do you realize how RARE getting GP is in the daily reward? I've only ever heard of 2 or 3 people getting it in the almost 2 years that this game has been going. all I am suggesting, is tweaking it slightly to drop more often, give less GP, to the people who can't or won't. because maybe that GP they got from the daily reward will entice them to spend some money to actually BUY some because it's like hey, dropping that shitty planet was kind of nice, now I can get something better.

One or Two GP is every other month really won't make any kind of difference to anyone,

as I mentioned we all make choices with our spending, it is WON'T not CAN'T. If you won't spend money on a game why should the game give you stuff for free? Would not Free GP makes the same difference it makes you too, Maybe it pushes them over just enough to dump one more crummy planet?

don't assume that everyone who doesn't buy GP are people who WON'T, there are a lot of people who love this game and would love to help support it but simply can't be cause they can't afford it. if I had the money right now I would buy GP, but I'm kind of in the hole for money right now.

and I think the main difference between your argument and mine is this:

CC Player hears that there is now a better chance of getting GP in the daily reward, so he stops buying because that free GP is only given to NON GP buying people - your argument

what I am saying is this

GP gets tweaked to where it is a bit less rare, rewards less GP, to NON GP buying people, so as to entice them to start buying GP if they can, GP buyers will still continue to buy GP because 1 or 2 every other month or so is NOT even CLOSE to sustaining their GP needs.

People who CC regularly usually buy energy refills and buy the mission planets, which at a minimum would take 860 GP to have your mission planets, that is about 100$ to spend on two planets, now, what difference does 1 or 2 GP every other month or so make to the people who buy GP?

I have my mission exotic and mission dyson

and for me, only 4 of the terraformers came from TO Carriers for my exotic
I also used GP to rename my dyson, it was originally Maira, and I didn't think that sounded all that well for a dyson.
I know that over the year or so I've played this game I've spent about 100$ and I also know that 1 or 2 GP wouldn't mean #&$# to me because what is that supposed to by me? a spy probe? those are more common than sand on a beach.

The free GP idea has been rehashed so many times it's not funny, there were ideas about 1 a level, one every ten levels, one every 25 levels. just all kinds of ideas, this one would be the least hurtful to dan, and over enough time people could dump those trash planets they colonzied as a noob.

You still haven't really addressed the underlining issue here Kalos. EXPLAIN too me, HOW giving a small amount of extra GP too EVERYONE is WORSE then giving small extra gp too non CC players. As I have mentioned increasing the chance for EVERYONE I would have no problem with, infact I would highly support such a thing and would be VERY easy too code. This isn't about you getting more I don't have a problem with that, My problem is about you wanting someone else too get LESS and you want too spend more resources too do it. (meaning everyone gets less extra content)

you weren't explaining it that way

it isn't worse, it's just not necessary for them to get extra GP, they already buy hundreds, so once again, that extra 1 or 2 GP every other month or so won't make a difference to them. and there are only a few low cost GP items worth buying with the free gp, Star Chart Purgers, and if you have the odd number of 3 GP, a full hull or shield restore which is kind of a waste. those are the only things that have a low cost that are worth buying, and only one of those is useful really.

I am a CC player. I have my limits. It does not bother me if Dan decides to give every non cc player 10 Gp a week. But it is not up to us what Dan puts in to the "To Do" Pile and the "Rejected" Pile. Now a few things CC player can get So can normal players. The Items include terraforming Devices, QSE, Temporal Flux Orb ( simillar to Planet Flux ) Planet Flux and Polychoron Vault ( simillar to Research Data Archive, Mineral Storage Tower and Artifacct Warehouse)
