Yes please. The larger-sized base crates and their drops should have their ctp multiplied several times. That, or all base crates should have a common drop of CTPs. (Example: common/level 5 base: 50 CTP. Common/level 6 base: 85 CTP. common/level 7 base: 120 CTP) That should alleviate some of the problems, and make it easier for players in higher level legions to get CTPs.

Ummmmmm..... How about no?

I'm hoping he meant just change the scrap value of them from what they are to something worth scrapping.

Tri-Phase: 50
Dumb Station: 85
Parser: 120

Alright, now I don't know if the drop rates were ninja-tweaked or if the RNG was just being nice today. After taking out 2 level 7 bases today (y'all know who y'are ;) ) there were only a few Parser crates while a LOT of Crystals. Several of us in The Triumvirate got back-to-back Crystals.

*Crosses fingers that trend continues*

Another parser drop from a level 7 base.

Seriously Dan, Ship Modules should be kept to Silver Badge Items. Just Make them cost 150 Silver Badges Each or something. Just don't have them as base drops anymore.

I don't understand the possibility of expending major effort for no reward - either getting a continuum parser when you're full up, or getting the Omnifield Regulator for 4k energy from the daily when it's useless to you. What does the chance of total failure add to the game? How does it make it better, more enjoyable, more balanced, more *anything?*

This remains one of the most baffling aspects of the game to me - accomplishment is often rewarded with nothing or even with penalties. I'm about to hit level 900 in the next week or so. My reward? *Losing* Xavox and XRP Prototypes! Jealous?

Pretty the only explanation. Higher rank = more everything, and in order to keep the gap between new players and old from getting too wide too quickly pitfalls are added.

Also the time between rewards increasing is pretty common in most games, since it causes the person to try to maintain a constant source of pleasure. If they are able to beat the game and the new stuff within a few days/hours or minutes why play any more?
