#8. Littefluffy (The Unknown) - 37

Is Littlefluffy in the wrong place or did you get the numbers wrong? Other than that I find it interesting the moving around and such.

sorry about that. Littlefluffy had 22 raids, and finished the day in 37th spot.

and yes, i will be moving the rest of these posts to a topic in the pub, but there has been no commentary on the original suggestion that might make this kind of analysis easier to do for any of the leaderboards.

basically current race / profession doesn't mean much - it's not necessarily what was used to reach the top of any leaderboard. neither is legion, for that matter, but having the legion info would allow a player's rank and profession to be determined ... having the profession doesn't work in reverse.

anyway, besides Secrat, i'm missing the legion for the new player in #50 spot - anyone know who TheBloodyNine belongs to ?

I don't really know why you want to know their rank? Although it could be added in a relatively quick fix.

rank is useful when tracking movement because there are obviously fewer pvp targets at higher ranks. so, someone getting 40 raids as a rank 100 is not as impressive as getting 40 raids at rank 1000, where the opposing ships are presumably much better outfitted and crewed on average.

e.g. LOWLAND got 36 raids yesterday at rank 677, outmatching both PsiBlade (rank 438, 35 raids) and DrHorriblePhD (rank 194, 32 raids). meanwhile Johny45 got his 29 raids at rank 1313. (rank data collected on the 16th)

anyway, with the limited amount of space on the leaderboard screens, i just want to see useful info presented and race/profession doesn't qualify.
