I don't like your tone, so calm it down, right now.

The reason modules are damaged is so that people can't evade upkeep. They'll have to pay that amount, no matter what. If you try to evade upkeep, by uninstalling all your modules right before upkeep, they get damaged. This can happen up to 10 times, before you have to re-pay the build cost again. Upkeep is a limiting factor. It's what stops rank 1's having 8 Heavy Quasi-Chaotic Blasters. If you don't like it, don't play. Simple.

Also, don't call out the forum moderators/game admins. It's disrespectful.

Ha ha ha... funny. I'm not your kid, so don't belch orders this way.
We the players are the supporters of the game, so whenever you see a suggestion, rather you like them or not, you should review and advise us of your thoughts instead of acting like you've been insulted. I'm simply pointing out something that I see unfair in the game and I'm obviously not the only one that feel this way. If me saying "Mods Please Review" hurts your feelings, I guess I should say sorry for hurting you.
And to make things worse, this dude say if you don't like don't play.... Interesting I must say... You guys should listen to his words, it shows you his true colors. Especially to those of you that purchase galaxy points.

And for those that think that a player would try and cheat by removing modules prior paying the daily upkeep, I'd say the module should become inactive 24hours after removal. If the module has been offline for more than 24hours, then upkeep towards the module should cease. The module should also not receive damage from missions that inflict damage.

Just my thought.

See Dexter, thats how you take a matter into discussion without becoming all offended. Positive criticism.

Upkeep has been a part of Galaxy Legion since it started, and I don't see it changing any time soon. If it bothers you that much, I'll pay your damn upkeep for you.

Although, it seems I've had the wrong idea of module upkeep. I didn't think you had to pay it even if they were offline. Still, if you hire a car, and don't use it, you still pay the fees.

you dont pay for the modules that are BROKEN on your ship... if its something you never use but its a limited arti, break it and leave it there... although most limited artis have like a 20K upkeep.

Also, upkeep stops after 3 days of not going online, not 3 days after going inactive. So you need only store 3 days of upkeep prior to going on holiday, which really shouldn't be all that hard, considering that the main money breaker at high ranks is the invasions costs. Don't invade for a while before going on holiday.

C'mon. Highest upkeep is what, less than 20B right now? How hard is it to find 60B at that rank?

its kinda the same as a carpet takes damage after a long time...

if you keep putting something in and taking it out you can avoic damaging parts unless you replace those , the slightest things as screws or cable attachments..

Have you ever taken something apart to fix something on the inside, and when you're done, are left with one screw?

Ofcourse, but usually thats on purpose because a lot is done with at least 4 screws while 2 is enough

Dude. If you've ever worked on your PC... I'll kill you.

Always put all the screws on a cooling system. Always. :o

I thought it was 7 days inactive, not 3. I don't know, just saying, that's what I thought.
As far as vacation mode in general is concerned (as has been suggested before), if we have that option, you should also receive zero production, but your ship and planets should still be "in play." After 1 disable, you are removed from the list anyway. And the reason your planets still need to be targetable is because it would be too easy to steal a nice rock, go hide in vacation, then reappear long enough to temp orb it.

It got changed to 3 days in a relatively recent update.
