Perhaps I wasnt clear. There is no way they should be able to do more damage to me than i could to them with those stats. I wont bicker about strategy, I know you have to sacrifice a few things to keep a ship that small, but doing more damage with less firepower against a greater defense is ridiculous.
so if you shot a machine gun at a fly merely because he small you should kill him i think not whats going to happen is your going to miss this is how it reflects in gl as well your giant ass ship is just missing
if you still dont understand think of it as you fireing all 40 of your cannons your not going to hit his tiny ship with all 40 cannons you only hit with say 5 so instead of having 32k attack you get 5k (this is just an example)
in regards to you taking more damage your big ship is basically a giant target he cant miss
Funny, that's exactly how I pictured it.
I agree with why the damage they take should be lower due to size for that analogy, the damage they are doing to Jason makes little sense. How can 8000 atk cause 500 damage to 32,000 defense?I find that ships who have 11K attak usually only deal me about 100 to 200 damage when they are a similar size, my ship is NOT small so you can;t argue that only 5% of their weapons are hitting me.
So, by the same token, and a similar analogy as Epic Ownage.
I agree that If I am in a Destroyer, and I put all my guns to bear on a man in a speed-boat, the speed boat might go largely undamaged because of size & speed.
But the speed boat doesn't have a lot of fire-power.
lets say the speed boat has are two men with rocket launchers, they will almost certainly hit me, I'm a huge target, but why would those two rocket launchers deal me more damage than if I happened upon a cruiser that had 3 men with rocket launchers?
The cruiser is larger, surely, so I can hit it more readily and deal it more damage, I again agree to that.
However the cruiser has 1/3 more firepower and I am still a large target that is easy to hit to them as surely as I was for the speedboat.
So, why is it then that my very high defense reduces the cruiser's damage further than it reduces the speed boat's damage?
The weapons are the same, the target is the same, the only real difference is that the larger attacker should be easier to hit.
