New traps that buff defense and hit-points

Would the extra hull/shield trap just repair that extra 15% (or whatever) or completely repair your ship?
For example;
10000 Hull / 10000 Shields
11,000 Damage letter you hit the trap.
9,000 Hull / 0 Shields becomes (at 15%) >
10,500 Hull / 1,500 Shields
Or
11,500 Hull / 11,500 Shields
Which one? I think the first one is a bit pointless, really.

between strong ships, races/jobes and gemmini Canons you should be fine. and besides. your going to get killed any ways pvp'ing. stop adding more to it. as you rank up and peoples hull grows faster then there damage cap you will see PVP is FINE!

Yeah, more traps doesnt seem necessary really. If you dont PVP, then halc. If you do PVP and someone wants you dead bad enough, no extra trap is gonna keep that from happening.

If these traps only buff the defender, and can be negated by a containment missile. then +1.
Mainly because it gives containment missiles a use other than annoying someone that looks to be attempting a scan run.
