the issue is you have not clamped yet. After you max your size and start clamping alot upgrading with T.o charges your base will not die so fast unbuffed . then you can buff and be a force to be reconed with. Many unbuff bases takes some of the strongest groups 5-10 mins to kill. From the moment CRA was made i knew CLamping had to be done for this reason. being a bit of a new legion yes you have a bit of a disadvantage but with some work you wil be fine.

A lot of work goes into disabling a base uber fast. It have to be scheduled so lots of ppl can click at once to be done. Yeah, lowering cap will make it take longer, but remember, half cap=double click=double time. 10 sec to a min doubled would hardly make a difference, so it won't affect the strong legions. On the other hand, a hour or two doubled... that's a hell lot.

A minimal lv 6? I'm sorry, if you are at lv 6 you shouldn'e be running "minimal" bases. A proper lv 6 base can hold off the strongest team for quite a while. We are gonna be looking at 600k+ hull+shield, 55k+ def and 35k+ atk. This would take 100 ppl with 60k base atk each ~50-60 shots each. that takes at least 30 sec, time enough for you to respond.

Not you, thunderbola did in his comparison of 5 and 6 bases. I'm not replying to any post in particular but the thread as a whole(hence quote-less)
point still stands, a properly built lv 6 should be able to fend off enemies for at least 30 sec, which will certainly be enough time for an alert to get out.

Indeed, but that wasn't in reference to our own base - nor was it the only comparison I made. I compared a maxed 6 and a maxed 5 too.

Just having fixer and arlens in your legion list helps.

I've been online and defended several base locks and honestly i've never had even 30k done before i could buff so it's not that quick/laggy from the alert. Maybe you have too many windows open?

But i STOP everything i'm doing at the time! I don't try to open new windows or finish my pvp fight, and i never assume one of the other officers or leaders will get it, i type got it in comm and go straight to hull buff, check damage, battlestations, check damage, def buffs, and repair as needed.

The response time has really nothing to do with how many tabs you have open. I don't think it even refreshes everytime you attack something anymore - you have to wait for either your energy or shield to recharge. At most 30 seconds for a high level player, but considerably more (2 mins+) for a low rank.

I get alerts not on my refreshes, Thunderbolta.
Could it be a browser issue? Or a ping issue? When we've been locked i have an alert in seconds.

It's not a browser issue, it's not a ping issue. That's how the game works. It used to refresh every time you attacked something. I don't think it does that anymore because of lag. I think it refreshes when you're hit by an NPC ability. It'll appear in your news tab immediately - the news tab is refreshed every time you click it. You can hack the game to make it refresh more often and it is very very easy but that is the only way of doing so. I do not do so - I play properly, and it would likely be possible to detect but I know how. Anyone with coding experience can probably tell you.

Well with the base pop-up, it always comes through at the same time as the red message in comm, so I'm guessing it's every 30 seconds or so.
