Sooooo, you're saying that they get out of their ship, fly over(Without getting hit by the other player's cannons AND their own T.Os), then punch the ship and potentially outstrip the damage output of a full compliment of cannons?

Then don't offer a piss-poor excuse for why T.O's can affect a ship, but god forbid miners can't.

Tactical officers come with their own small cannon/blaster they fire from the ship. It doesn't take up any decks as the amount needed to fill a deck would be gigantic. mining would be stupid as you would constantly need to be landing to get lumps of ore allready mined for the miners to turn into minerals. blasters however run on energy from the reactors that is creatable onboard.

If Dan added a limit of 100(or number he chooses) attack from T.O's for every ONE deck, then it would make sense for them to have their own little turret~

As for miners, change it to geologists or something as even empty space isn't a complete vacuum, there is actually stuff there~ so .5 mining per geo doesn't seem to unreasonable

hell, make them an unlockable crew choice after installing a specially designed module (collector esc thing)~

thats still not right consider the size a turret would be which is tiny vs the size of a deck on even a cruise ship never mind a multidimensional deepspace ship.
Maybe a hard cap of 10k tactical officers per deck :P

That works~ wouldn't affect anyone's attack value in all honesty~ but would actually give some reason for why T.O's work :P

now~ what about helmsmen? :? are they all waiting in-line to drive the ship for a few minutes? D:

For a kid who says he has better things to go do. you sure as heck spend a lota time arguing things in this game and going after people. kinda strange. it's like you spend more time in hear then you do even playing the game.
