instead of an energy cost, have it be a red badges cost.. 10-20 per lock or whatever.
or even a mix of badges, 5 of each, excluding greens.

Then Dan could add in those Pesky Holiday NPC's everyone was having trouble finding to the list during holidays and fix the problem, and not foul up the NPC battletab with sprites that wont roll even after 10K kills.

A little Fine Tuning and it could work like a charm. Whether Dan likes it... thats another story...


...Good review though. Very Similar to my Legion War Concept from about a year ago that wasn't considered that had a lot of potential. I wish you all the luck in the world. Would be nice to play a different side of the game besides just hammer clicking a bunch of Scratch off cards (Thats what NPCing is like for me. Digital Scratch off tickets hoping for a lucky troop carrier or some sh!t.)

I love it. Stuff like this that would make the game more dynamic is what it needs to keep it afloat. Having tie ins to legion mission success rate and extra rewards etc would be awesome too.

I would hate that.
As someone who only PVP's when I have to, I do not want to spend my hard earned badges on NPC's, but i would be fine with an energy cost.

And strm avenger, you said in the OP that you didnt understand why so many people NPC, when there is no challenge to it.
Well, i can't tell you why everyone else likes it, but the lack of a challenge is my favorite part. I don't like challenges, i like it when things are easy and don't require any real effort.
(I guess I'm just a very lazy person..)
Even so, i think the idea is well thought out, and would certainly add another interesting aspect to the game.
So a big +1 from me.
