Just to say, I recall Dan saying he would never include a way for a planet to be untouchable.

I hope he might be willing to change his mind. Of the ideas I posted (I have more but didn't want to write a book) the one that I would want more than any other would be the planet option. I am rank 140+ I have been playing for a while, I check the game every day and I gather twice as many Research points as I do Artifact or Minerals. My last scan was after six upgrades in scanning that gave me over 2500 scan. I had around 70% chance to scan, took me over a month to build that up. I didn't scan one single planet that was unoccupied over Large or Rich. I have scanned two mega planets on my own one Megax5 owned by a Rank 400+ and one Megax1 owned by a 300+. What gets me is a fellow legion member by the time he was rank 80 had scanned not one but two Dyson planets. Megax28 and Megax25 (I think) he also has maybe five other Megax10+ planets all before rank 100. Chance can make games fun but chance can also ruin them, here I sit in a legion with a guy who has played half as long as I who is making over three times my research. That is just frustrating. I think that GP could be used to offset bad luck such as mine to give players who have fallen behind in a type of resources to catch back up over time. As far as the planet being immune to scanning, well I added that because it seems like a poor trade to pay real money for a planet that you might not even control for a week. I have had horrible luck with planets and think the idea of being able to buy a good one, not even great just good would be amazing. I really hope he would consider making this one change if not a single other.

To treat the Energy Restore like a Tri-Matrix instead of an Energy Cube the only concern I would have is that the price of the recharge would go up as it gives more then just energy. Maybe 12 GP instead of 10. I think that all the artifacts should be listed doesn't mean they are cheap, an artifact that gives you eight hours of resources would cost quite a bit of GP personally I would put it around 40-50 GP and thanks for the input.

After seeing the thoughts of players I will edit my post, I have never been big on gambling personally and didn't really see a point to it.

I wasn't saying make it like a tri just that the two options to fully restore hull and shields should be combined and kept at the same price. So 3 GP for full shield and hull restore.
