Shouldnt there be something over Volcanic, i like the idea of the Plates.
Artifact - Volcanic Plate Melder = Melds the tectonic plates of a planet together making a volcanic planet turn into a Earth Planet (Passive Defense by about 1000)

Artifact - Planet Cooling Wave Generator = Cools a planets lava/magma and makes it harder creating a solid outer layer, creating a Earth Planet
Earth Planets would manely be rich in mining and artifacts.
It should just increase Size by 1-2

Artifact +2-3
terra planets are the smae as earth planets
i mean may be a 50 50 ratio for which one increases by 2 or 3.
Plus you cant find this planet without using it on a volcanic, but there is something ive noticed, he only makes these artifacts for Uncommon Planets. Just throwing this idea out there

Just throwing this idea out there Hahaha no there not, Terra Planets can support life and have vegatation and water, Earth planet have no vegatation or water. Making them solid rock. (aka the passive defense) . The rock is VERY thick due to the massive amounts of the lava being cooled. So no they are not the same, i was thinking of a artifact that can gradually turn an Earth(Rock) Planet into a terra planet by using a vegetation or oceanic artifact. but thats going a little to far

Magma planet- a planet that is still forming. It is still heated and rock chunks are constantly being flung out. It is kinda like the first stage of a volcanic planet. Always has a good mining, averge resaerch, and no artifacts

OK how about arctic planet- it is a type of icy planet. Storyline: scientists were researching the mass surface melter when somthining went terrrbly wrong. Somebody sabotaged the melter and it reversed its affect. the icy planet which was supposed to become a oceanic planet gained more layers of ice turning it into a arctic planet. The new layers of ice made the planet larger. Not all was lost, The new layers were full with chunks of the rarest minerals increasing its mining.

Normal Planet to Normal Planet conversion, not just new types or upgrades to existing ones. Example: "Planet Toxifier" -- turn a terra planet into a toxic planet, the mining is equal to the former artifact richness, but all artifacts are removed, planet size remains the same. Sarcastic Note: this will happen on its own to a human controlled terra anyway given enough time, the artifact just speeds up the process. Something like that can be applied to a gas planet, a "fuel depot" instead of research stations. Maybe, turn some planet into a barren planet with less resources, but extract some other planet boost, or some other artifact effect. Like the mining building that is +4 mining, -2 arti introduced penalties, you could sacrifice planet richness or size for something special. It would be interesting..

Not if its formed from a volcanic planet using the artifacts of my idea listed above. It would turn it brown baically, very rich in minerals and when i say that i mean that metophircally its supposed to be higher than very rich

earth is the NAME of our planet ...... it's not a TYPE of planet ..... planet EARTH is a TERRA planet , one without vegetation would be a dessert or barren planet.

Magnetic planet. Extremely powerful magnetic fields repel anything not already on the planet; adds defense and a lot of research potential. Perhaps metallic planet is a candidate.
Molten. A volcanic whose core has ruptured, leaving rare and valuable materials from the compression all over its surface. Artifact that basically causes this condition to occur, similar to others like gaia seed, but something to boost volcanics. Destroys artifact and/or research potential of the planet.

Have you ever heard, Earth ,Air,Water,Fire? The Elements. Earth isnt just a planet. Its basically the solid ground beneath you. Call it a Rocky Planet then if it confuses some people who arent smart enough to understand some words of Multiple Definitions
