+1, but if this was made public to everyone in the legion, that includes the person in question. So only available to Officers and Leaders is the best way. This is a great idea, would help a lot and cut down on legion hoppers and spies. If it was only available when the person is applying tho, your current legion mates are void from such history checks, which could let a current spy continue thier work.

I love this idea, but would also add a legion "grade" too. Say this guy was in your legion and caused a whole bunch of problems, up untill then he was a good player, the leader of the old legion he left or was kicked from could give him a grade and maybe a comment. GRADE C attacked a NAP player, Grade F Invaded a NAP planet, etc...

+.5 to the grades, I think there should be a list of violations, and as you get violations, it lowers your grade, i.e. break a NAP by attacking a player, goes from A to B

I like the idea but the only thing is if the person left for a reason like to go to a brother legion it could say that people sometimes break NAPs to make room for a brother legion and a NAP for them but otherwise +1

+1 Very good idea! Would see it as a special legion base module though. You'll have to choose between production mods, shields mods, etc. OR this Intelligence agency mod. You sacrifice some things for this special edge. Sometimes, Intel is priceless

I would totally drop base production in favour in intell so that would be a good idea. Those legions who care enough to keep an eye on new applicants will install it; and high legions who have rigourous recruiting methods as Im sure Dysonians do, wouldn't be in a position that they need an intell module.
And also totally agree on this history only applying from the time Dan brings it into play.
While I do not totally agree with the grade concept, I do agree that a legion leader should have a period of time after any player leaves the legion to leave a note for future legions to see if this player left on good/bad terms. Maybe 2 lists, 1 for praise about the player, and 1 for anything questionable the player did. An example of a good note would obviously be along the lines of 'this player is exemplary, responds well to alerts and is always ready to help out lower ranks'
And an example of a note on the bad side would probably be like 'player emptied base funds' or 'attacked NAP legions within minutes of joining'
So this idea will now add 2 tabs, 1 of which should be accessible at any time from officers/leaders and is the prior history of the member. The second tab is only accessible during application to a legion, and for 72 hours after a player leaves the legion. 24 is too short a time I feel, as a legion may only have 1 leader who had that dreadful expansion called Real Life, and wasn't able to get online for a day or two.
If you can't get on the game for upto 72 hours, then if a player left on bad terms from the legion, he should have some way of getting out. A spy waiting until the leader says he'll be gone for a few days and then starting #&$# and leaving so the leader can't come back and put that on his history, etc.
