Again you provide no evidence... There is a lot of coincidence, but no cold hard proof of cheating. I don't even know Negron, never interacted with him, but to label someone as a cheat, with absolutely zero evidence, is just wrong.

Some people have a LOT of time on their hands, how do you know he didn't just take it very personally and was sat there with your window open all the time, constantly checking on you?

Also you say when it happens to me I will know... Well it has happened (having an ALT is cheating) and I laid low, under Halc and talked it out with the person and got it sorted, you know, like adults do.

Also you may have been a leader, but you were not a controller. Whilst that is what you would have liked to have happen, you cannot force people to do so. You did not command them. If they disagreed with your actions or methods they were well within their rights to not follow up on it.

I know because I experienced it. Negron was smart and targeted me only unlike Fluffy.

Explain how he could attack me within minutes everyday for a month and a half ?

I know I can't and no one else in this game can unless they're exploiting or messing with the programming.

Also he had told many people that he was going to make me quit. He pretty much did but not legitimately.

The proof is the frustration I had been going through because he had to cheat to get to me.
No one in 3 years could do that besides BlkDrgn and he " somehow " knew when I logged in too and quickly spammed me within minutes after I buffed.
The entire legion backed me by pm'ing Dan and in the forum. A lot of us making a big deal about it.
The halc trap had to get changed because of it.

BlkDrgn would hit a halc trap from someone every hour of the day so me or anyone else couldn't get to him but he was free to spam me with artifacts to stop my game play. How he knew within minutes of me logging is beyond me but he did just like Negron did recently.

Finally I was free to play and kill bases again because he stopped. We also kicked SYMYBOY that was spying for him because we had recruited him from PA against our better judgement.

This time with Negron, the legion didn't back me as far as going in the forum is concerned.
They got tired of hearing about it and decided to act like they didn't know what was going on because they didn't want it happening to them I guess.

The proof is that no one could get to me for 3 years without abusing the system.
Everyone in this game around my rank has crossed paths with me at some time or another and no one got to me because they fought within the system limits and didn't magically know exactly when I repaired to get me to the point of getting that upset.

So does it make sense to you that all of a sudden I flip because of one guy fighting fair.
No I had fought everyone and went back and forth everyone within my rank and higher. I didn't care.
I'd kill, hack and raid them and the fact that I was 2nd in raids under Krauzen and in the top 5 in hacks at that time showed it.

If he was cheating in anyway surely there would be a pattern in his attacking, such as exactly the same amount of time between you repairing and his attacks starting, if it was a bot/script playing for him then surely you could of just kept disabling him

again, at your rank there are only so many people to hit, and its easy to keep someone on tab.

If he had a window open for 3 weeks because I hadn't hit him or anyone other HB that's bs.

And if he did that ... He broke the TOS as far as I'm concerned :

One- you could still play the game, being attacked is a part of a game. If you were playing football, you couldn't call someone a cheater for scoring a goal, just because you dont like it.

Two- read the rest of the part you posted... By means of hacking or defacing the game. Again you have zero evidence he did either of these things.

It was me and Krauzens decision to sink the ship. I didn't want to kick the core, which would have been a short list anyways because the rest wasn't worth it.
We had to vote yes on each decision and that one wasn't two yes votes.

I've wanted to boot quite a few for a long time as I have written many times in all of these threads but Krauzen and the other officers didn't agree BECAUSE we had to have them to keep us up in first and 2nd place on the legion leader board.

To me that was irrelevant because we needed a well rounded crew. Not a fragmented crew of collectors, npc only members and pvp'rs that did it all because they're the most active.

Contrary to popular belief there wasn't a long line of people waiting to join.
I guess most didn't think that they were good enough or couldn't meet our criteria.

The guys that did apply usually didn't but we took them in anyways hoping to help them boost their ships so they could have the attack to hit bases and do well in pvp.

The guys we went after either had gotten promoted to leaders or officers or had legions that didn't want to leave.
There have been a lot of people that have retired in the game too that has lowered the amount of guys that would fit in well.

We were always looking for the best but the best wasn't available most of the time.

Here's a pm that was written to Dan when BlkDrgn was trying to make me and Randy Manning quit by harassing us to no end.

This kind of behavior is ridiculous and shows :

1) No honor

2) Is bad for Dan's business to push people that far to quit

3) And is against the TOS

I know you've gotten letters about Randy and Blitz's situation with BlkDrgn, but I don't know if you have gotten a calm letter.

BlkDrgn is hammering them at all hours of the day with containment missiles and debuffs. Not looking to disable them, just to harass them and reduce their game experience.

Randy can't get away from it because he is on the Kills leaderboard and so anyone can attack him. Blitz fights back - so is always on BlkDrgn's news feed. But honestly, even if he didn't fight back, it would not be hard for BlkDrgn's legion to alert Blitz just from the BT. Waiting out 2 days doesn't work if someone has a vendetta against you and an active legion.

Randy has threatened to quit. Blitz has said he's reduced the amount he plays and won't be buying GP anymore. He's mentioned quitting in the comms.

Without saying if the strategy itself of debuffing someone to make them burn containment cages and make them fight debuffed is a good strategy or not, certainly the idea of employing it for MONTHS (in Randy's case) or WEEKS (in Blitz's case) is wrong.

I can't think of a smart way to code this, and frankly I'm an IT Architect, not a programmer. But I can think of a way to stop it - add "significant and unyielding artifact use over a prolonged period of time" or similar words to the definition of harassment in the rules. And then forewarn the forums, and possibly BlkDrgn directly, of the change. The intention isn't to trap him, but just to stop the harassment.

In my world, drama like this is poison. And this drama's gone on a long time.

Thread was a real good guy but Dan received many letters like that one from most of our members and we also went into the forum and made a big deal about it.

I wish that I would have done that with Negons bs but the crew that we recently had weren't as close as the crews of the past ... It was unfortunate for me.

About halcs .. I refuse to use them as I stated before because I never have used one since the beginning of the game and I wasn't going to start now.
I shouldn't have to with a legion that has always defended one another to the end.

I made sure that our guys didn't have to use them often I know that much because the enemies that kept coming around got hit by me and others that I had encouraged to.

This seems to be a constant circle of repeating the same things and same questions.

Those of you that defend Negron and his actions.. so be it but but you also have no honor because you side with his dishonorable actions.

I know what's going to be said next .. That I was dishonorable in booting everyone with Krauzen.
I feel bad for the ones that didn't deserve it but that's it ...

The Halc trap is a joke when you're going after badges and constantly doing your duty defending the legion.
The fact that you guys keep bringing the halc up tells me and everyone else in the game a lot about how you play.

...the game is structured so that if you hadn't done anything for 2 days you would have fallen off the radar, ie the news feed, and then you could have halced up and calm ampd etc. etc. Run low and run quiet for a week and they would have forgottenn all about you.... Just what you expected everyone else to do when faced by the Dysoians. Couldn't eat your own advise when the tables were turned could you.

Your ego and lack of anything remotely looking like humility lead you down this road and yes you had dozens of other options.

As for staying on point -1 to your idea, i think the game works just fine without all the extra rules your proposing.
