I know its still early, but i think that the proposed method of earning silver badges may be a bit unfair.

"Silver Badges are awarded for participating in battles against legion bases. Badges are awarded based on the top damagers during each base battle encounter. "

Two reasons for me to say that this is possibly unfair to many players

1) Top players in a legion can have huge gaps in their attack some players can have 14k plus vs junior players hitting way lower, there is no way they can be a top damager meaning they simply don't get the rewards

2)Internet connection often there are lags in the game, people with less than ideal internet connections will find that they don't do near as much damage in a given time. lol i know that queens i see the alert click it immediately and its already dead.

Anyway these are just my thoughts on that silver badge.

I think its perfectly fair. They are supposed to be hard to get.

think you missing the point they will be easy for top members of a legion, HARD for junior members, this will apply to any legion in the game. Those players in the top 10% of a legion will get them with ease.

but i think i may have misunderstood it a bit, lol too early it would be the same as Elites, has room for x number of players. i guess its up to the legions themselves to play fair and let their junior players get some action.

maybe nocifer will let you guys take turns on who attacks what base. i think for the most part in order to get everyone in the legion badges, they either all have to be the same level, or the leaders have to designate who attacks what and when. which will be hard for uncoordinated legions. but easy for coordinated legions that listen to their leaders and respect the chain of command.

I think it would be good if everyone got one, but the best damagers would get more than the others

One of the rewards basically amplifies the base damage I guess, so if you are winning silvers then you win more. The other is an OK AP building (I don't use defense anymore just cloak so to me it's just an AP building). It doesn't seem game breaking.

It will also depend on how many people can get badges. He said it will be dependent on the Bases level, but nothing more specific.

Maybe 10 People or 5 People per level Im guessing? With 10 it will stop at level 6+, with 5 it would be Level 12.

Perhaps, but perhaps not; you will be able to invite other Legions to join in, so perhaps quite a lot more people will be able to get Badges.

Silver Badges should only get you base improvements that benefit the base or the legion as a whole, and should give good XP as a bonus.

You want junior members to help out, but in the end you want to get silver badges and apply them to modules for the base.

I agree with handing them out to the top damage scorers so someone can leave and take their un-used silver badges with them.

However: The badges should only buy modules for the base, and that should be done in the base tab, NOT the battle-Tab! The Modules should all give bonuses to base atk/dff, production from the base, or give a bonus to all members of the legions such as +2% defense on planets.

it hasnt been released yet so speculation is just that at this point.... speculation. as far as we know everyone could still get a silver for participating, just the top damagers may get more then one...

I know its speculation at this point my motivation is based upon what is written in an attempt to provide some sort of input from the players about a possible issue that may or may not present itself.

This is why its posted in suggestions & Ideas, merely to help the developer identify possible future concerns, before the system is even released.

its not really intended as a gripe or a complaint just a possible conflicting issue.

but I'm sure it will be a good fair system.

Remember dan said is not adding badge items there will be another wave soon. So there very well might be base items/power ups ect...
